¹û½´ÊÓƵ Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) Special Call
Dear ¹û½´ÊÓƵ faculty:
I am writing to announce a call for an ¹û½´ÊÓƵ Tier 2 CRC nominee for nomination to CRC in fall 2024. Tier 2 Chairs are for exceptional emerging researchers, acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to lead in their field. Applicants must be full-time tenure-stream Assistant or Associate Professors at ¹û½´ÊÓƵ. The nominee’s research area must align with the of Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
This special call is limited to ¹û½´ÊÓƵ faculty members who are members of visible minorities and/or Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuk, and Métis), as defined by the . The identification of outstanding candidates from these designated groups supports the University’s institutional capacity to fulfill the objectives of the University’s  .
The nominee will be chosen from among eligible OISE applicants by an internal selection committee chaired by Acting Associate Dean, Research, International & Innovation Michal Perlman and comprised of ¹û½´ÊÓƵ faculty members from across ¹û½´ÊÓƵ’s four departments.
