Biography

Oney Erwang Shen is a University of Toronto alumnus with an academic background in Psychology and Economics, and graduate training in Education. He is a member of the Graduate Student Research Conference (GSRC) organizing team, served as Host of TEDxSMCS, and was President of the Interbiz Business Club, where he led student teams and organized large-scale academic and community events. 

Alongside campus leadership, Oney has been involved in education- and wellbeing-focused initiatives, working closely with students, educators, and school leaders to support engagement, responsibility, and self-regulation, while bringing a cross-cultural perspective to building positive and sustainable campus communities.
