February Highlights

Celebrating Black History

February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on Black histories, resilience, and joy. OISE and U of T are hosting events across the three campuses that celebrate Black histories, creativity, and resistance, while spotlighting initiatives that support Black community members and foster a culture of care. We encourage readers to explore happening throughout February, as well as how ��Ƶ is supporting Black community members through events, institutional support, and recognition of Black scholarship. We also invite our community to attend the hosted by the Centre for Integrative Anti-Racism Studies (CIARS) and Rooted in Community: A Black history & futures celebration hosted by the Master of Teaching Black Educators’ Association (MTBEA).
